The Bednarek Laboratory
Our lab is interested in understanding the evolutionarily conserved and divergent molecular mechanisms governing cell division and cell expansion and their relationships to overall plant development and morphogenesis. We study the roles of different membrane trafficking proteins using biochemical and genetic tools in the model system Arabidopsis thaliana and Physcomitrium (Physcomitrella) patens.
